If you are interested in what we believe, I'll share some online teachings on the next page that we endorse.  In a nutshell, I'll give a summary here of Melissa's testimony.

Melissa has always been a believer.  Growing up visiting a small town Baptist church where love was flowing, she never doubted.  She gave her life to the Lord at a young age, was baptized in her early 20's in a Pentecostal church.  But like so many, the ways of the world, in this rat race that we live, slowly began to creep into her life.

By her late twenties, she was a single mom of three amazing young men.  One day it seemed her whole life was shaken. She found herself getting out of a bad relationship (which had become a recurring pattern of abuse), a pending surgery to remove aggressive cancer cells, a job lay off, and a busted HVAC system just to name a few.  She knew this was evidence of pulling away from God.  Immediately she began to listen to mainstream pastors, Joyce Meyer and Joel Osteen.  While they were very beneficial and made her feel encouraged, it was only a temporary feeling.  When life would smack her down again the reality of life overcome their messages of positivity.  She knew she was missing something and set out on a mission to find God, and God found her.

She began scouring the internet for information and went to the Book.  First she began skipping around, and feeling like she was getting nowhere, logic struck.  Why on earth would you begin reading any book in the middle.  DUH!  Start from the beginning.  And so she did.  Straight out of the box a few things began to jump out at her that made her question things.  One was that Noah took SEVEN pairs of clean animals onto the ark.  Seven.  Pairs.  That's 14.  She had only been taught two in all my entire life in church.  But the Bible itself clearly says seven pairs.  So she went back and reexamined the creation account and God rested on the seventh day of the week.  Again, being taught Sunday was the Sabbath and also that Sunday was the first day of the week.  Something wasn't lining up.

This fueled her fire even more.  Meanwhile while Melissa was battling this fire inside her, a random facebook post by her cousin would change everything.  Her cousin posted a video by Pastor Jim Staley on the most misunderstood verses in the New Testament.  And she watched it.  It was probably two o'clock in the morning when she started it but couldn't stop.  Maybe it was their similar insurance backgrounds that spoke to her, no, it was the Holy Spirit.  Pastor Jim taught in a way that was not only captivating and easy to follow, but it was deep calling to deep.  Her spirit was recognizing truth.  She immediately contacted her cousin about this video and she sent her Truth or Tradition, also by Jim Staley.  Her world was rocked.  I'll share that teaching on the next page for you as well.  It speaks for itself.
